Working on an illustration of the notorious Roman Dictator:
Starting with pencil sketches, based on research photos of the Pantheon and a statue of Caesar in Rome, I then create a clean ink version of the image. Followed by a few looser watercolour washes, the drawing layers are digitally comped together for a final image.
